What New Code customers say...
about New Code Hurricane Resistant Windows, Doors and service

At New Code Hurricane Resistant Windows and Doors our focus has always been to build and install the best, most beautiful impact windows that can resist the hurricane propelled debris that traditionally has had catastrophic impacts on SouthWest Florida homeowners and families. New Code Windows and Doors are not only hurricane impact resistant, they are beautiful and are supported by the best window company in Bonita Springs FL., as these customers will tell you:

Dear Bruce,

Sandie and I want to send this letter to say THANK YOU for the incredible window and door job on our home. As you know, we had New Code hurricane windows and doors installed on our entire home the Monday (8/16/04) right after Hurricane Charley hit our area. We could not be happier with this decision. Your products for both the windows and doors are of excellent quality. Your installation crew (Shaw, Lloyd, and Derick) did an outstanding job. You should be very proud of them. They were very professional, neat, and did a great job with reassuring me of the whole process from removal to installation. As you know, it is very frightening for a homeowner to even begin to think of allowing someone to remove windows and doors in the middle of the hurricane and rainy season!

As you know I had endless questions about your products and the installation process. I can guarantee I was your toughest sale ever. If you remember, our neighbor is a builder and he tried to talk us out of replacing all the doors and windows. He told us that the process is very messy and would take a long time. He said we would have to get a stucco company, drywall contractor, and painting crew to follow your men after they were done with the installation. I am very pleased to tell you that this was not at all the case. When your men were done with the installation process, the job was DONE. We did not need anyone to repair anything inside or out. We could not be happier. Our neighbor watched the whole process and would check your men's work every night. He was in total disbelief regarding the smooth and clean process, as well as the finished product. In fact, he has ordered your windows and doors for a job he is remodeling now in Port Charlotte.

Our house is three stories, and with that came many challenges because of some very large windows seemingly out of reach. My wife and I had no idea how you were going to tackle these areas. Your crew had no problem with this and acted as if it were an everyday event for them. This gave us all the reassurance we needed, for both their safety and the safety of our home.

If you have any customers with any questions, please have them contact us. We would love to show them our windows and doors and answer any questions they might have. As you know we had the most questions and were the most concerned with this whole process.

We love our new windows and doors. Our home is now so nice and quiet, and there is virtually no heat from the sun in our home. We finally feel secure and comfortable. It was expensive, but it was the best money we could have spent as it gives us great peace of mind every day of the year. Thank you! Thank you for an excellent product and service team.

Sincerely,

Charles & Sandie from Bonita Springs, Florida

Gentlemen:

Over time I have made my home a Sherman Tank for storm protection. Pull-side folding steel along sliding glass doors, steel inserts at doorways, and roll-down window shutters . Each has drawbacks. Pull, insert, or crank, they do beat plywood. Time-consuming and muscle-consuming, but better than plywood.

During the August-September storm warnings, let me tell you how pleased I am with the New Code living room windows. I never pulled the steel folders over New Code. What a blessing! Let there be light!

No other system avoids the cabin fever we all experience once the home is sealed tight. New Code spares us from living like moles in a black hole.

So pleased am I, I have ordered another New Code side window to replace its roll-down shutter. No more haven for wasps, tree frogs, and mud-ballers. With coverage all around, what comfort it is when a single roll-down is jammed inoperable by accumulated nests and mud! When one fails, the system fails. Good-bye roll-down, hello New Code!

Smooth sailing!

John from Naples, Florida

Dear Bruce,

I'm sending this e-mail to thank you for letting us in on your fantastic product—New Code Impact-Resistant Windows.

Fortunately, we have not had a hurricane here in South Florida yet this year, but it is the season and there are several out in the Caribbean and headed for the Gulf. However we did have Solar Control added to the windows and I have already seen a difference in my electric bill. I get the sun on the west-side of my house in the afternoon, and that is where my office den is located, as well as the dining room. Even with a ceiling fan and A/C it was still very warm in those rooms. Now I can stay in the office working at my computer all afternoon if I like. I have also noticed a big difference in the sound level in the house. This development is new; there is construction going on all the time and lawns being mowed, and I don't really hear that anymore unless I go outside.

I hope we never have to see how the windows are in a hurricane, but my wife and I feel a whole lot more secure in our home knowing that we had New Code install these windows.

Thank you,
Toby & Jane

Dear Mr. Hoovis,

In less than a week since they have been installed, our New Code windows have proven to be such an extraordinary investment. We feel compelled to commend you and your staff for offering such an outstanding product.

As you know, we had a lot of questions and concerns when we began our search for the perfect replacement windows for our 1926 Spanish home. You and the New Code team quickly and professionally convinced us that your windows were the best choice we could make. We are happy to say that the finished product more than supports our convictions. When Cheryl got home from school last Friday, the first words out of her mouth were, “I can't believe how good they look!” The installation crew did an outstanding job. Not only do they look great, but we can't even hear the air conditioner running outside, and speaking of air conditioning, we have already found that it runs considerably less than it did before.

We feel so strongly that the installation has exceeded even your sales pitch that we would like to extend an open invitation to you and any of your prospective customers to stop by and show them firsthand what a terrific product you have. Congratulations to you and the folks at New Code for the wonderful windows and the stellar installation.

P.S. We can hardly wait for the windows for the other house to get here.

With kindest regards,
Steve & Cheryl from Fort Myers, Florida

Attn: Mr. Bruce A. Hoovis

A few months ago my husband and I decided we needed new windows, but we did not know where to start our search or what kind we wanted.

We saw on television and also read about New Code Windows and noticed that there was a showroom in the area. We decided to see these “hurricane-safe” windows.

We walked into the showroom and were approached by you. You gave such a good sell on those windows that all we did was go home and decide when to have them installed. The demo you gave us told the story! We loved those windows immediately! Living in Florida with all the hurricanes and storms, these are must-have windows.

To end this story, we must say that the windows are now installed. They make a great difference to the appearance of our home. They cut out a lot of the traffic noises and in the short time we have had them, they have made a difference in our electric bill.

Also, we would like to thank the crew that installed these windows. They were the greatest! They made no mess, picked up after themselves, and when they left you could not even tell anyone had been there to install windows. They cleaned the windows, inside and out. That in itself was a surprise to us!

Now we have to paint the house…any volunteers?

Again, thank you all for such great service and an exceptional product!

Sincerely,

Hank & Dolly from Fort Myers, Florida

Dear Bruce,

I wanted to drop you a letter to let you know how satisfied we are with our New Code Windows. When we made Florida our permanent home in 2003, we know we needed hurricane protection. We priced metal shutters, but we also needed to replace the old aluminum and crank out windows. When you compare both the cost of window replacement and metal shutters, the cost of New Code Windows are in line.

Lynne and I did not have enough time to evacuate our home when Hurricane Charley changed direction and became a category four hurricane. We rode out the storm and saw the destruction that tore through our neighborhood. The east side of our house took the brunt of the wind and flying debris. We watched a New Code window take a direct hit from a plywood board. The outside windowpane shattered but didn't break through to the inside pane, which saved our family room, our possessions, and possibly even our lives.

Lynne and I highly recommend New Code Windows as a way to protect lives and property. New Code passed the Hurricane Charley test.

Sincerely,

Art & Lynne from Punta Gorda, Florida

Dear Mr. Hoovis,

I thought it necessary to write to you, Mike Scott (marketing), and your installation team led by Shawn Therrien to let you know about our complete satisfaction with the impact-resistant windows and door.

Tuesday, November 18 was one week since the installation. My grown daughters and I are well pleased. We have lived in this house for almost 11 years, and have never enjoyed the comfortable temperature as we do now—humid or cool temperatures. Previously, prior to the newly installed windows, at this cool temperature in the house—76 degrees—the air was always so moist; now it is comfortable.

I consider the investment a good and worthwhile one. Mike Scott's personality and marketing skills were very impressionable. His mild and courteous manner is an asset for your company. Shawn Therrien and his team are professionals at what they do. I rate an A+ to your products. Thanks again.

Gloria from Port Charlotte, Florida

P.S. We have listened to other marketing individuals who were very unlike Mike Scott.

Dear Bruce,

Words cannot express how happy we are with our new stanic, PVC high-impact windows. They are quiet, beautiful, and work well. We cannot hear the wind, rain, mowers, or air conditioning units from outside—how wonderful! There is absolutely no moisture inside, the heat is greatly reduced, and they are mechanically sound. Anyone who comes by says they are “strictly top of the line.”

Bruce, I also wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed working with you and your people. Everyone was right on time, very courteous, and did a quality job. Sean and his crew of installers could not have been better.

Again, thanks for a quality product and a quality job. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,

David from Fort Myers, Florida

Dear Bruce,

For years we knew we needed to replace the old jalousie windows in our Fort Myers home. They leaked both air and water, and I knew our home was not only vulnerable to powerful tropical storms but also burglars and high utility bills. We finally got around to replacing every window (33 of them) and door (four)…just one month before Hurricane Charley came to call. And the New Code windows and doors, we're pleased to announce, survived the test!

As others raced to board or shutter up their homes, it was nice knowing I didn't have to worry about doing such a thing, and I could spend time preparing for the storm in other, smarter ways. While everyone else was schlepping around for plywood and wrenches I was out buying all the batteries and water and bread before the masses could get out and shop.

How did we fare? Not only were the windows and doors intact, but when we watched the hurricane from our living room, facing the Caloosahatchee River, it was as if we were watching the storm with the mute button on! Even without a storm, our home is so quiet now…so much more peaceful.

The windows and doors updated the look of our 1951 ranch home in a way that no other investment could have done. And they're so tight and secure that we've even put off calling the alarm company to reinstall our service.

Again, thanks for your professionalism and great product. True, New Code windows and doors are more expensive than lesser products, but we feel the extra expense was well worth it. Out home is now safer, tighter, snazzier.

All best,

Ad and Carol from Fort Myers, Florida
